The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) shares jumped 0.40 (0.60%) to $67.40 in the pre-market session after the company said that it earned $2.22 billion or 95 cents a share on revenue of $12.25 billion in its third quarter, compared to analysts estimates of $1.02 a share on revenue of $12.02 billion.
In a year ago quarter, the company had reported earnings of $2.06 billion or 88 cents a share.
Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE:OMC) said that it earned Q3 EPS of $0.72, better than analyst estimates of $0.70 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 12.90% year-over-year to $3.38 billion, ahead of analysts’ estimates by $70 million.
Parker-Hannifin Corporation (NYSE:PH) soared 3.09 (4.25%) to $75.80 after the company said that it earned $297.02 million or $1.91 a share on revenue of $3.23 billion in its first quarter, ahead of analysts’ estimates of $1.69 a share on revenue of $3.19 billion.
Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE:PII) shares slid 1.68 (-2.87%) to $56.82 after the company $67.6 million or 95 cents a share on revenue of $729.9 million in its third quarter, compared to analysts estimates of 85 cents a share.
The company also lifted its guidance for the 2011 year to 3.10 to $3.16 a share. Sales are expected to grow 30 to 32 percent over last year.
