On Thursday September 22, 2011, Premier Alliance Group, Inc.(OTC:PIMO), headquartered in Charlotte, NC, a spearheading provider of business and technology advisory and consulting services annunciated the appointment of Kevin Carnahan as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors.
With the respective appointment, the present set up of the Board consists of Mark Elliott as Chairman of the Board and President of Premier and Kevin Carnahan; Isaac Blech; Pat Kolenik; Greg Morris; Cary Sucoff; Steve Yarbrough as the independent directors.
Prior joining Premier, Kevin Carnahan served as a Senior Managing Partner for Accenture, the NYSE publicly traded global consulting, technology and outsourcing firm, for the period 1981 to 2009. There he was entitled with the responsibilities of managing the variety of Fortune 500 clients in the financial services and technology sectors, looking after the Accenture’s as well as client prospects in Europe, Asia and the Americas, along with leading the Systems Integration business, P&L teams, and global delivery and client satisfaction. During his tenure at Accenture, he gained a valuable experience.
Mark Elliott, Chairman of the Board and President of Premier, acknowledged that they have been adding veteran independent directors to their Board, including Isaac Blech, since January 2011. The recent addition being Mr. Carnahan, who is appointed on the basis of his extensive experience in terms of leadership and knowledge of systems integration, particularly following mergers and acquisitions. With this uniquely qualified well-rounded Board of Directors, the company is looking forward to grow its reputation and value in the professional services marketplace.
Shares of PIMO fell 4.49% to $0.85.
