Evan Jones steps in BillMyParents as Vice President of Marketing

On Thursday July 21, 2011, Socialwise, Inc. (OTC:BMPI), an organization exclusively dealing with financial management programme involving parents and children by providing payment solutions, also the introducer of reloadable Spend Smart prepaid card, declared the appointment of Evan Jones as Vice President of its Marketing Department.

Evan Jones inherits an extensive working experience. Prior to joining BillMyParents, he held the post of Vice President of Global Marketing at Activision Blizzard, leading publisher of video games globally. He also served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at DC Shoes (a subsidiary of Quiksilver, Inc.). Earlier he rendered variable services in Nike Inc.’s European, US and Global organizations, conducting marketing programs for some of Nike’s largest categories and businesses, including Nike Basketball in the US Market from 2004-2007.

Mark Sandson, CEO of BillMyParents acknowledged that they are pleased to have Jones as the Vice President of Marketing, considering his extensive working experience; he is convinced that he will be efficient in bringing about an increment on their brand recognition largely by implementing his effective brand marketing strategy thereby enhancing their business.

As Vice President of Marketing, Jones will continue to lead BillMyParents programs exhibiting their respective products targeted to teens, young adults and their parents.

Evan Jones has worked with BillMyParents management team in the organization of company’s 2011 marketing campaigns entitled to spread brand awareness among families nationwide, and encouraging adoption of the BillMyParents Spend Smart card broadcasted with the help of advertisements and shows aired on MTV and ESPN.

Shares of BMPI was trading at $0.47.  The stock has a 52-week range of $0.35-$0.63.
